The J-20 is a twin-engine, all-weather, stealth fighter aircraft developed for the People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF). It is designed as an air superiority fighter with some precision strike capability, much like the USAF F-22 "Raptor". While its stealth capabilities may be disputed - not least because of its exposed engines, increasing radar and heat signatures from the rear aspect - it is currently the second-most prolific stealth fighter, with around 200 in service with the PLAAF (second only to the ~750 F-35s across the world, and marginally beating the ~180 F-22s still in service with the USAF).
